Good Evening all, hope you're all well.
I thought for this Saturday evening that I would share with you my lazy weekend make up. Now I don't like wearing make up when not needed, but most Sundays my brother-in-law will pop down for a few hours and I like to make myself look at least a little bit presentable, so this is what I use.
As a side note for the past two weeks I've been using and loving the new Fresh BB cream from Maybelline, I totally fell for it when I used the first of three sachet samples that I got through the post from their Facebook page. I certainly will be purchasing this but think I may go for the medium shade as the light shade that the samples were is a little too light for me, or maybe I won't, I shall swatch them when I go to pick it up. Onto the rest of the details, here are the products I used.
MUA Cosmetics Professional Eye Primer- Just to brighten up the lid (Link)
Accessorize beauty eyebrow pencil*- brown- Lighter than a I would normally go for this gives a real natural finish to the brow and the little brush on the end is super handy
Accessorize beauty fibre lash lengthening mascara*- black/brown- Again a shade I would normally dismiss as I love black mascara, this has a great lengthening formula but still looks natural with it being a shade lighter
MUA Cosmetics and Love Hearts lip balm*- Great Lips- A simple nude moisturising balm with great pigmentation and a glossy finish (Link/Review)
Vivo Cosmetics baked blush*- Rouge Shimmer- A gorgeous flush of pink for the cheeks, again keeping it natural (Link/Review)
Wet n Wild bronzing powder- light/medium- My go to powder for contour, not much to say other than I love it
Maybelline Fresh BB cream- light- As previously mentioned I love this and shall be purchasing the full sized product (Link)
NKDSKN Hide It concealer- 02- I picked this up the other week and I don't know if I like it, it's a lighter shade than I'd normally wear so does brighten up the under eye area, but I also found that it creases in fine lines quite easily, although it's quite good at concealing blemishes which is a good thing as I seem to be blessed with two right on my chin at the moment!
Overall I really like the look, it just perks up my skin for the times when I feel a little naked with no make up on but by no means wants to be sporting a full face when I really don't need to be.
What do you do for those inbetween days? Have you tried any of my go to lazy day products? I'd love to hear what you think.
