Today I thought that I'd share a nail look with you, I haven't really done one for a while so I am correcting that today, plus I may have purchased a few pretty polishes that certainly need multiple amounts of love for them to realise their amazingness.
I picked up the Sally Hansen Colour Quick nail polish pen from Poundland at the beginning of the week, I had a coral version of this a few months ago and they are super handy, very quick to apply and dry, it really is perfect for on the go. I was dubious about the colour and finish of the 'silver chrome' colour but it certainly didn't disappoint and is a metallic looking silver polish and despite it being in the pen form it doesn't leave a messy finish with the thicker than normal brush tip.
I applied two coats of silver chrome to all of my nails and then decided I wanted to add a little bit of something extra, and with the half moon manicure being ever popular I decided to go ahead and add that to my thumbs with Ciate Jelly Bean, which has quickly become my favourite pink shade.
I really love the look of this combination, it was one of them fluke things that I made up on the spot and I'm really pleased with it. The finish of the silver chrome is fab, a little more subtle in natural light but you can really see the metallic finish to it under flash like above. The only thing that I have noticed is that tip wear is apparent quite quickly, but it's so easy to top up that it's no real problem.
What do you think of this combination? Have you picked up any bargains from Poundland? I'd love to see what's on your nails at the moment.
Thanks for reading.
Bec x

They are so cute! Love the pink colour <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellie, me too. It's actually a miracle that I have something different on my nails as the Jelly Bean colour is the one I've been going for since picking it up x
